Okey, soo, getting an account with Flickr set up doesn’t really qualify us for the “spearhead in social media” award but it is nevertheless a little step in the right direction.

I wanted to take some pictures of the things I’ve been making for the (soon to come) Etsy site  but the rain just kept falling. The fact is I’m slightly freaking out about the pictures. Obvoiusly they’re very important as they are the one and only way for your customers to see your wares. And I’m not sure if I’m up for the challenge. Having browsed around a lot it seems like many favour just a plain white background – which does make sence as it brings your product to the fore but I want to use the cool surroundings we have right on our doorstep. But I also worry if that is the right decision.

Anyway, I found a really good series of tutorials on Haptree and me. Now I just have to wait for the rain to stop.
